Kawasaki ATV Ride on Toy - Pink

Walmart.com has this cute little Kawasaki ATV ride on toy available this morning for the lowest price I’ve seen (currently $22.) It is for ages 1 year to 3 years old. Our son has one in green and he still uses it today at almost 4 years of age. It has a few sound effects and steers left and right. This little Kawasaki ATV toy is built surprisingly sturdy and can take a beating. It is being offered this morning with free site to store shipping. That means you order online and then go pick it up in a few days at your local Walmart. This is an easy budget pick for a little girl’s list this Christmas.

Mitsubishi 60″ 120Hz, 1080p DLP Home Theater TV with HDMI Cable

We have just purchased this TV for our own home from HSN. With a price that seemed too good to be true, this Mitsubishi 60 inch DLP delivers a true bang for the buck. Watching football on it in high definition is almost a surreal experience. It seems like you are there in person for every play. I will come back to this post from time to time in order to give updates regarding its performance. As for right now, it is beyond our expectations with a vivid picture and above average sound. We are delighted to have this TV in our home.

As for now, it is available by using the HSN flexpay option. This is the cherry on top of an already mouthwatering sundae. Combine that with the free shipping they are also offering and it doesn’t get any better than this.

It has been brought to my attention that HSN has sold out of this model.  ShopNBC has a similar model for about the same price.  There also is a mail-in rebate offer of $100 that ends today (11/30.)  Take a look below.

The holiday shopping season for 2009 has arrived quicker than ever.  Retailers are trying to make a jump on the traditional Black Friday sales in order to get dollars from customers’ wallets even quicker than usual.  This could mean some great deals for shoppers this holiday season.

Christmas Shopping

Please mark SavingsForecast.com in your favorites.  Over the next few weeks, I will attempt to help sort out the deals from the duds.  Also, as usual, I post a few unique items that I feel might appeal to the average Christmas shopper.

I wish you all a happy holiday season!  Let the shopping games begin!

While shopping around for Christmas bargains today, I was surprised to find these LeapFrog Magnets sets available on Amazon for about 1/2 price.  The single letter version is great to get kids familiar with letter recognition and sounds.  The jet plane version has over 300 combinations of different words.  Both of the sets were in stock at the time of this post.  Prices at “press” time were $9.99 for the single-letter sun and $13.99 for the tri-letter airplane.  In order to get free shipping at Amazon, you need to either have $25 worth of eligible goods or be enrolled in their Amazon Prime program.

If you are looking for unique stocking stuffers, then look no more. Amazon has these nativity scene ducks. Mary, Joseph, Lamb, and Three Wisemen are included at a double dose, for a total of 12 ducks. Keep a set for yourself and stuff the others in a stocking. Great for decorating and an interesting conversation starter.

LeapFrog Didj is a great way for your young child to get into digital learning.  This portable system is a step above the Leapster.  There are many quality titles offered that keep those gears in their brain turning.  Combine that with a nice looking design, good battery life, and popular characters and I think we have a real winner.

I’m not sure how long this will continue, but Amazon has a great promotion going on with their toy section.  Purchase $25 in toys from a single seller and get a free magazine subscription to Cookie Magazine or in lieu of that a $15 rebate.  There are some restrictions and additional details posted at the Amazon site.  View them by clicking through the Elmo Live link below and refer to the “Special Offers and Product Promotions” section right under the video.
