The Zen V Plus might not be as popular as the iPod, but it has a ton of features. It contains an FM radio tuner with 32 presets, recording capabilities for both voice and line in, and can be used with subscription WMA services. The sound quality is great, and the joystick navigation is unique. It it solidly built, and can fit into almost any pocket. But the best part is the cost: you can get the 4GB version for less than $100!
Cell Phone CPR-A Life or Death Scenario
I have decided to take a break from the ordinary and post something that has been on my mind lately. What I am referring to is CellPhoneCPR. No, no the revival of your cell phone after you drop it in the public toilet. CellPhoneCPR is instead a new product that might be coming to a cell phone near you. Great for those emergency situations when sometimes everything escapes your mind…well, worry no longer. You will still have to do the breathing and compressions yourself, but CellPhoneCPR will verbally guide you through the steps via your cell phone’s speakerphone function. Just hit a preprogrammed button on your phone and you will hear the loud voice calmly directing you as you perform CPR on the victim via Red Cross protocol. Things like this can save a life and only cost a dollar or two to implement into the next cell phone design. I know if the option was there, I would switch to the carrier that could save a life of someone I cared about. Sprint? AT&T? Verizon? Who is it gonna be?

The Wii is Nintendo’s newest video game console, and it’s unlike anything you’ve ever played before. Instead of just controlling the games by pushing buttons, the controller can actually detect your hand motions. If you’re playing bowling, you launch the ball by moving your arm in the same motion as you would as if you were actually bowling. While it may not have the best graphics, it trumps the other consoles in one important area: pure fun that appeals to everyone. You can also download games from older Nintendo consoles, show off little characters called Mii’s, and challenge your friends online. It’s also backward-compatible with GameCube games, so if you don’t have one of those, it’s almost like buying 2 consoles in one! You get all this in Wii, the cheapest next-generation console.
